Spaced in is unusual in that we train all of our employees to do everything. We believe that this makes the job much more enjoyable and gives us great flexibility around managing workflow. It’s very likely that the person installing your furniture also designed it, made it and sprayed it meaning those all important details don’t get lost in translation!
Ben is the founder of SpacedIn, with over thirty years of experience. He has an easy going approach and sees excellent customer service as a priority. Our business which has grown substantially over the years almost entirely based on word of mouth, is proud testament to this.
Erfan has been with SpacedIn for over two years. Prior to this, he was an architect, furniture maker and weight lifter in Iran before coming to the UK and joining the team. We are lucky to have him and hope he stays a good while longer.
Carole is Ben’s mum and the bedrock of the firm. She is responsible for bill payments, invoicing and the passive aggressive chasing of late payment!
Chris has been with SpacedIn for over ten years/ He is a highly skilled and detail oriented designer-maker who barely misses running pubs in Newcastle for a living.
Mark joined the team just before lockdown and has proved a great addition to the team with a lot of previous experience and a great work ethic.
